Our 5-Physician practice is looking for a dedicated full-time Medical Assistant to handle rotation among the 5 Physicians as a Medical Assistant. When our patients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and extremely organized.

Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Greet patients and take vitals
• Take patient history
• Enter patient information into our electronic medical record system.
• Schedule imaging and surgeries as needed
• Handle incoming and outgoing faxes
• Triage patient phone messages correctly and promptly
• Clean patient exam rooms and instruments

Requirements:

• Excellent multitasking skills required
• Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner required
• 1+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Completed a certified Medical Assistant program.
• High school diploma accepted
• Bilingual preferred
• Work 5 days a week. (No weekends)
• Travel between all four offices required (Branford, New Haven, Westbrook, and North Haven is absolutely required!)
